In 2020, as life came to a halt, it gave me time to think about what I wanted to do with my life. I’d been feeling lost for a while, but it was during this time that it was suggested that I go into cosmetology. It was like a lightbulb went off and I wondered why I hadn’t thought of that sooner! After a year at Empire Beauty School, I got my license in September 2021 and started working for Vivid Salon in December of that year. I started out working under Megan as her associate gaining valuable experience which has helped me grow as a stylist. I started taking my clients in July 2021 and am on my way to becoming a full-time stylist. I am officially Barbicide certified and have taken various classes in and outside of the salon to further my education and develop my skills.
